Kashkabayev Syrim Abdiqadyruly

Syrim Kashkabayev Abdiqadyruly was born on January 4, 1979, in Almaty city.
In 1999, he graduated from the actor department of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh State Institute of Theater and Cinema. Upon the invitation of the People’s Hero of Kazakhstan, A. Mambetov, he joined the Qalybek Quanishybaev State Academic Kazakh Music and Drama Theater in the capital city.

- In 2016, he was awarded the “25th Anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan” medal.
- In 2017, he received the Kazakhstan First President – Elbasy Fund award for his achievements in the field of culture and arts.
- In 2017, he was awarded the title of “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.”
- He has been a regular host at international festivals such as “Asia Daoudy” and “Zhas Qanat.”
- He was the host of the “Central Khabar” program on Khabar channel.

Contributions to Kazakh cinema: He played lead roles in domestic TV series such as “Uljan” (2003, Director: Serikbol Otebbergenov), “Syrygalym” (2014, Directors: Dmitriy Korobkin, Rashid Suleimenov), “Arnauli Okilder” (2015, Director: Serik Smagul), and “Kyzyl Alma.” He has also worked in dubbing numerous films and foreign films into Kazakh.
Syrim Kashkabayev is currently one of the most sought-after actors in Kazakh theater and cinema.
