Bolat Uzakov – Director, Actor, and Playwright
Bolat Uzakov was born on August 3, 1962, in the Masak village of the Shelek district in Almaty region.
In 1997, he was invited to the Q. Kuanyshbaev State Academic Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre in Astana as a director.
Education:
- From 1980 to 1984, he studied at the Almaty State Theatre and Fine Arts Institute, majoring in Cinema and Theatre Acting under the mentorship of People’s Artist A. Tokpanov, and People’s Artists I. Nogaybaev and F. Sharipova.
- From 1994 to 1997, he studied Drama Directing at the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts under People’s Artist M. Bayserkenov and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan S. Asylkhanov.
Acting Career: From 1984 to 1997, Bolat Uzakov worked as a prominent actor at the B. Rymov Kazakh Drama Theatre in Taldykorgan, performing over 40 roles and establishing himself as a versatile actor with deep stage presence.
