Fleeing from the coldness of her home and the suffocating restraints imposed by society, Anna Karenina finds herself at a ball. That evening, she meets Count Vronsky and surrenders to a new feeling awakening in her heart. Love and maternal duty, inner turmoil and society’s judgment draw her into a profound conflict. On one side stands the sincerity of emotion; on the other, family obligations and social expectations. Is this love a source of salvation, or the beginning of tragedy? The performance reveals the delicate tension of the human heart and the struggle between fate and feeling.
