Jochi Khan

“On which day will I fear that the fangs of my enemy will sink into my throat… While I am trying to put everything in order, will the Turkic people themselves be consumed and lose their essence? Many scare, but they go deep… Then where does the roof of the Turkic people remain? Who will own it? Time will pass, generations will come… What will they say to us? Will it be gratitude or a curse?”

About Jochi Khan: Jochi Khan is a great figure in the history of the Great Steppe, the founder of the Jochi Khanate in Ulytau and the eldest son of Genghis Khan. He was a leader who aimed to unite the Turkic people under one banner, caring for the peace and unity of his people. After Genghis Khan, Jochi’s life was one of bringing the Turkic people together, binding their fates and showing the values of nationhood and cultural origins.
