Atymtaeva Tuimakhan Baiyrbekovna

Atymtaeva Tuimakhan Baiyrbekovna was born on November 6, 1955, in the village of “Kömash Bulak,” Sayram district, Shymkent region.

After finishing secondary school in 1972, she entered the acting department of the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory’s Theater Faculty.

Since 1978, she has worked as an actress at the Shymkent Regional Jumat Shanin Drama Theater.

Since 1990, she has been working at the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theater, where she is one of the founding members of the theater.

In 1996, she was awarded a “Certificate of Honor” at the 2nd International Theaters Festival held in Bashkiria.

  • In 2001, she was awarded the President of Kazakhstan’s Letter of Appreciation and the “For Distinguished Labor” medal.
  • In 2012, on the eve of Kazakhstan’s 21st Independence Anniversary, she was granted the title “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.”
  • In 2014, she won the “Best Female Character” nomination at the XXII Republic Theater Festival of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist of the USSR and Kazakhstan S. Maikanova, for her role in Sh. Aitmatov’s “Ana-Zher Ana.”
  • In 2017, she was awarded a “Letter of Appreciation” from the Mayor of Nur-Sultan on Culture and Art Workers’ Day.
  • In 2017, she became the recipient of the Cultural Sector Scholarship from the First President of Kazakhstan.
  • In 2019, she was awarded the “Labor Glory” badge by the Kazakhstan Cultural, Sports, Tourism, and Information Service Workers’ Trade Union.
  • In 2020, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Constitution, she was awarded the “Kazakhstan Constitution 25 Years” commemorative medal for her contribution to Kazakh art and culture by the President of Kazakhstan on August 20, 2020.
