Aymagambet Ayman Otegenkyzy

Aymagambet Ayman Otegenkyzy was born on November 9, 1959, in the village of Karsakbai, Zhezkazgan region.
From 1967 to 1977, she graduated from Zh. Zhabaev Secondary School.
From 1978 to 1980, she worked as a singer in the Zhezkazgan regional philharmonic “Zhezkik” ensemble.
She graduated from the Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky Music School in Almaty with a degree in choir conducting from 1980 to 1984.
From 1984 to 1989, she graduated with honors from the T. Zhurgenov Theater and Art Institute in Almaty, majoring in “theater and musical drama acting.”
From 1989 to 1991, she worked at the Zhezkazgan Musical Drama Theater.
Since 1991, she has been working as an actress at the Kalibek Kuanyshbayev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theater in the capital city. She has traveled on tour to Tashkent, Ufa, Germany, and Russia during her years at the theater.

- In 1991, she was awarded the “Honor” certificate.
- In 2005, she received the “Best Female Character” nomination at the 13th National Theater Festival for her role as a mother in E. Amanshaev’s “Broken Lullaby.”
- In 2010, 2012, and 2013, she was awarded multiple Almaty City Culture Department certificates.
- In 2016, she was honored with the title of “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.”
- In 2016, the actress Ayma Amambet, who played the role of Charlotte in A. Chekhov’s “Cherry Orchard,” received the “Best Performance” nomination at the 24th National Theater Festival in Akhtobe and also won the Grand Prix at the “Kazakhstan – Heart of Eurasia” International Theater Festival in Central Asia, dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.
- In 2017, the “Cherry Orchard” performance participated in the CHELoBEK THEATER V International Small Form Theater Festival in Chelyabinsk (Russia), and the XIII NAURYZ International Theater Festival in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, and received high praise from theater experts. The director of the performance is Sergey Potapov, a renowned theater and film director from Yakutia, honored artist of Yakutia, and recipient of the “Golden Mask” award among Russian national theaters.
