Isabekova Bakhyt Argingazykzy

Isabekova Bakhyt Argingazykzy was born on January 17, 1959, in the Ayagoz district of the Semey region.
She graduated from the secondary school in the Barshatas village of Semey region in 1976.
From 1978 to 1982, she studied at the acting department of the Almaty State Institute of Theatre and Arts.
From 1982 to 1986, she worked at the Abai Semey Musical Drama Theatre.
In 1990, she became a lead singer of the “Kalmakas” ensemble and performed in Hungary.
In 1991, she played the role of Aktocty in the first performance of the State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev, in the play Akan Seri – Aktocty by G. Musirepov.

- 1984-1985, during the “Days of Kazakhstan” art tour in Hungary, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Czechia, she made a significant contribution.
- 1995, for her role as Asyl in K. Mukhamjanov’s Biz Perishtebiz Be?, she won the Best Female Role nomination.
- 1996, she performed at the International Tuganlyk Theatre Festival in Ufa among Turkic-speaking countries.
- 1999, she performed in the Bloody Teeth production at the World Experimental Theater Festival in Cairo, Egypt, playing the role of Azhe.
- She toured with performances in Turkmenistan, Bishkek, Tashkent, Turkey, and Russia.
- In January 2010, she portrayed Akbala in Karagoz (directed by People’s Hero Azirbayjan Mambetov) at the Fajr International Theatre Festival in Tehran, Iran, where it was considered one of the best productions.
- On November 10, 2011, she was awarded the 20th Anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan commemorative medal by the decree of the President of Kazakhstan.
- In 2011, she was awarded the Eren Enbegi Ushin (For Exceptional Work) Medal.
- In May 2014, during the regional theatre festival Alash Ardaktysy in Pavlodar, she won the Grand Prix for her role as Ai in the farce-tragedy Ukili Juldyz.
- In 2017, on the occasion of Culture and Arts Workers Day, she received a Letter of Gratitude from the Akim of Nur-Sultan for her significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s culture and arts.
- In 2017, she was awarded the title Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.
