Kystykbayev Kuandyk Kapyslanuly

Kuandyk Kystykbayev Kapyslanuly was born on August 1, 1977, in Kyrgyzsay village, Uyghur district, Almaty region.
After graduating from the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh State Theater and Cinema Institute in 1998, he was invited to work as an actor at the Kazakh Musical Drama Theater named after Q. Kuanyshbaev, which was then in the city of Akmolinsk (now Astana).
Since joining the theater, he has demonstrated his talent, inquisitive nature, and hardworking character.

It also won the Grand Prix at the “Kazakhstan – Heart of Eurasia” International Theater Festival.
- In 2017, he received high praise at the “CHELoBEK THEATER” International Small Form Theater Festival in Chelyabinsk (Russia) for his portrayal of Gaiyp (Gaev) in the “Cherry Orchard” comedy, which later earned acclaim at the XIII “NAURYZ” International Theater Festival in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan.
- From 2020 to 2024, he served as the Artistic Director of the Q. Kuanyshbaev Kazakh National Musical Drama Theater.
