Ordaev Shah-Murat Saylaubekuly

Ordaev Shah-Murat Saylaubekuly was born on October 16, 1986, in Arkalyk, Kostanay region.

In 2006, he entered the “Acting and Directing” department at the Kazakh National University of Arts and graduated in 2010 with a specialty in “Drama Theatre and Film Acting.”

In 2010, he joined the State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbaev.

In 2016, Shah-Murat Ordaev played one of the leading roles in A. Chekhov’s comedy “The Cherry Orchard,” which won the “Best Performance” award at the XXIV Republican Festival of Kazakhstan Drama Theaters in Aktobe. This performance also received the Grand Prix at the “Kazakhstan – Heart of Eurasia” VI International Theatre Festival of Kazakhstan Drama Theatres, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.

In 2017, the performance won high praise from theatre critics at the “CHELoBEK THEATRE” V International Small-Form Theatre Festival in Chelyabinsk (Russia) and the XIII “NAURYZ” International Theatre Festival of Turkic Peoples in Kazan (Tatarstan).

In 2018, he became the laureate of the “Serper” award from the Kazakhstan Union of Youth.

In 2019, on the occasion of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day, he was awarded the “Honorary Certificate” by the “Kazakhstan Industry Union of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Information Workers” for his significant contribution to the spiritual upbringing of future generations, the development of folk art, and the active role in the sectoral trade union movement.

In 2019, he held a master class on “Dubbing Hollywood Films into Kazakh” at the XV “Eurasia” International Film Festival and continues to contribute to the development of dubbing in Kazakhstan by voicing world cinema characters in Kazakh.

He is the dubbing director of the following films: “Guardians of the Galaxy 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Coco’s Secret,” “The Incredibles 2,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms,” “Aladdin,” “The Lion King,” “Frozen 2,” “Onward,” and “Mulan.”
