Sultan Askhat Oyratuly

Sultan Askhat Oyratuly was born in 1970 in the Kossagash district of the Altai region, in the Mountainous Altai Autonomous Oblast.
He graduated from Mukhor-Tarkhata Secondary School in 1987.
From 1988 to 1990, he served in the military in the city of Leninsk (Baikonur).
From 1990 to 1994, he studied at the T. Zhurgenov Theater and Art Institute.
Since 1994, he has been an actor at the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theater in the capital, Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana).
In 2017 and 2019, he was awarded a letter of appreciation from the Department of Culture of Nur-Sultan City for his significant contributions to the development of Kazakhstan’s culture and arts.
In 2019, he was awarded the “Excellence in the Field of Culture” badge by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
