On February 8, 2025, the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev Kazakh National Musical Drama Theatre will embark on a tour to Pavlodar and perform two unique shows on the stage of the Zhanibek Aiymauytov Pavlodar Regional Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre:

12:00 – “Melody of the Night of Fairy Tales” – a collection of classical fairy tales for children; 19:00 – “7 PM” – a theatrical concert by the “Qalleki” theatre laboratory.

“Melody of the Night of Fairy Tales” is a special performance based on excerpts from famous world-classic fairy tales. Young viewers will embark on a journey through stories by Hans Christian Andersen, including “The Ugly Duckling” and “The Princess and the Pea,” E.T.A. Hoffmann’s “The Nutcracker,” and the Indian folk tale “The Golden Antelope.”

In this performance, the fairy tales come to life through music, choreography, and artistic décor, stimulating children’s imagination and enhancing their interest in classical arts. Director: award-winning artist of the Union of Youth of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Dәlelkhan. Translated by: Shakh-Murat Ordaev, Miras Abil. Set designer: Erlan Tuyakov. Choreographer: Asan Boranshy. In this exceptional performance, various fairy tales will be narrated through worldwide hits and classical music, supported by a musical ensemble. The piece guides children into the magical world of fairy tales, expanding their imagination, broadening their horizons, and enhancing their musical taste. Additionally, the performance allows viewers to connect the values derived from the fairy tales with real life.

On February 8, at 19:00, the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev Kazakh National Musical Drama Theatre will present the theatrical concert “7 PM” by the “Qalleki” theatre laboratory to the audience of Pavlodar.

This unique production, blending live vocals, music, and theatre, creates a mesmerizing aesthetic experience. The director of the performance: Bәzil Sultangazy; set designer: Shynar Elembaeva; choir master: Yerzhan Sansyzbaev.

The performance will feature a musical and poetic ensemble composed of young actors, who will perform pieces that guide the audience into the world of art and leave them with fresh impressions. Poems by the poet Saltanat Kairbek, including “I think I am tired…”, “You…”, “I used to think I knew life”, “Love” will be read aloud, and when combined with the music, these verses will carry deeper meaning.

This production is a brilliant example of creative exploration. The harmony of poetry and music will touch each viewer’s heart and enhance their love for the arts.
