Tribute to the great figure: flowers were laid at the monument of Mukhtar Auezov.

Today, on the occasion of International Theatre Day, the theatre company laid flowers at the monument of Mukhtar Auezov, the giant of Kazakh literature and dramaturgy, and the beacon of national spirituality.

Mukhtar Auezov is one of the founders of Kazakh theatre. In 1926, the curtain of the first professional Kazakh theatre rose with the play “Eңлік – Kебек”. Many of Auezov’s classic works, such as “Айман – Шолпан”, “Қарагөз”, “Абай”, “Түнгі сарын”, have been staged on the Kazakh stage and continue to receive warm applause from audiences.

This is a symbol of respect for the great figure who made an immeasurable contribution to the development of theatrical art. The legacy of Mukhtar Auezov will continue to echo on the theatre stage and find a place in the hearts of audiences.
