Zhūmagul Ömırzaqqyzy Meyramova was born on January 12, 1949, in the village of Karakystak, Zhambyl district, Almaty region.

From 1967 to 1971, she studied at the Kurmangazy State Conservatory in Almaty under the guidance of A. Tokpanov and People’s Artist of the USSR Sh. Zhandarbekova, majoring in theater and cinema acting.

From 1972 to 2007, she worked at the M. Auezov Kazakh Academic Drama Theater.

In 1996, she was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

Since 1996, she has served at the Department of Stage Speech at the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts as an Associate Professor.

Since 2007, she has been working at the Qali Bek Kuanyshbaev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theater. She is also a professor at the Kazakh National University of Arts.

In 2015, she was awarded the title “Labor Veteran.”

In 2021, she was awarded the “30th Anniversary” medal by the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Kaleki Theater.
