NAURYZ – THE GREAT DAY OF THE NATION!
This year, the Nauryz holiday will once again be celebrated within the framework of the ten-day festive program Nauryznama. Each day has its own special meaning and purpose, aimed at honoring the traditions and national values of our people. During these days, acts of kindness are encouraged and various cultural, sports, and charitable events are held to strengthen unity and harmony in society.
Nauryznama Ten-Day Celebration Calendar:
March 14 – Greeting Day (Korisu Day / Amal Holiday)
On this day people greet each other warmly, exchange good wishes, and show respect to elders.
March 15 – Charity Day
People perform acts of kindness and help those in need.
March 16 – Culture and National Traditions Day
Events dedicated to the rich culture and traditions of the Kazakh people, as well as national art and literature, are held.
March 17 – Shanyrak Day
A day devoted to strengthening family values and the continuity between generations.
March 18 – National Clothing Day
Kazakh national costumes are promoted and traditional fashion shows are organized.
March 19 – Renewal Day
Activities aimed at cleaning homes and yards and improving the environment are carried out.
March 20 – National Sports Day
Competitions in traditional Kazakh sports such as baige, kokpar, asyk atu, and Kazakh wrestling are held.
March 21 – Unity Day
Events are organized to strengthen friendship, harmony, and unity in society.
March 22 – Beginning of the Year
The main day of the Nauryz celebration, marking the spring equinox and the beginning of the new year.
March 23 – Purification Day
The final day of Nauryznama is dedicated to environmental cleanliness. Nationwide ecological campaigns and initiatives to protect nature are held across Kazakhstan.
Nauryz is not just a celebration, but a time of spiritual renewal that unites people and encourages kindness and harmony!
