CLASSICAL MUSIC EVENING

Accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the K. Kuanyshbayev Kazakh National Music and Drama Theatre, laureate of international competitions, Chinese pianist Wang Yuqian will present his new concert program to the capital’s audience.

Wang Yuqian is the First Prize winner of the “PIANALE” International Piano Competition in Germany and the International F. Chopin Piano Competition in China, as well as the Grand Prix winner of the 4th “Path of Mastery” International Piano Competition in Kazakhstan. Born in Changchun, he studied at the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory and is currently continuing his artistic development at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the class of Professor Irina Plotnikova, Honored Artist of Russia. Wang Yuqian has performed on prestigious stages in Russia, China, and Europe, collaborating with leading orchestras. His performance style has been highly praised by critics.
