Muza Rubackyte De la Baltique à l’Adriatique

Franco-Lithuanian pianist Muza Rubackyte graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. She is a Grand Prix winner of the All-Union Competition in Saint Petersburg, the Liszt–Bartók International Piano Competition in Budapest, and the main prize winner of the “French Masters” International Competition.

As a renowned educator, she is frequently invited to serve on the juries of prestigious international competitions worldwide.

In Lithuania, Muza has received several awards for her contribution to her country’s independence and for her role as a cultural ambassador. She is the founder and artistic director of the Vilnius Piano Festival.

Her repertoire includes more than forty programs. Her discography consists of around thirty-five recordings, many of which have received prestigious international awards.

The Debussy House in Saint-Germain-en-Laye selected Muza as the first patron of its season held as part of a historical restoration project.

In March 2024, she performed at Les Invalides Cathedral in Paris at a major symphonic concert marking the opening of the “Lithuanian Season in France,” supported by the Presidents of Lithuania and France. In addition, with the support of cultural institutions, she presented six recitals titled “From the Baltic to the Adriatic, from Vilnius to Venice.”
