“Zhyl basy” is not just a day in the calendar. It is a special moment in the life of our society, when we unite in festive joy and proudly celebrate the beginning of a new stage in our history.
Since this year the holiday of spring and renewal in Kazakhstan is celebrated in a new format. Now Kazakhstanis will be able to celebrate Nauryz annually for ten days – from March 14 to March 23. The decade was named “Nauryznama”.
Today, March 22, Kazakhstan celebrates the ninth day of Nauryznama – the New Year (Zhyl Basy) – the Day of return to the traditions and values of our people.
