Next Designer Award 2026

We sincerely congratulate the theatre’s costume designer Akbota Kapsalan on winning 3rd place in the sixth season of the Next Designer Award competition, held with the support of Visa, and on earning the opportunity to present her collection in Tashkent!

Through the image of the rare black “kandiyagash” tree, Akbota Kapsalang expressed the fragility and vulnerability of nature, culture, and human existence in her costume designs. The texture of tree bark, the plasticity of leaf lines, and a restrained color palette have come together in a modern collection with a strong national identity.
